Menopause

Menopause is natural, normal change in a woman's life. Some women are able to undergo this transition without feeling anything, but most will experience some menopause symptoms may be unpleasant.

  • A total of 53 post-menopausal women were alternately assigned into two treatment groups: acupuncture (n=27) and sham acupuncture (n=26). The severity of hot flushes was found to be significantly decreased after treatment in acupuncture group (p=0.001).
